6/C Dotted sea slug - Peltodoris atromaculata

Endemic species of the Mediterranean sea, it is probably the best-known nudibranch by scuba divers, being one of the most fluorescent and easily recognizable. The common name, as it is easy to realize, comes from the characteristic livery "dappled", white with numerous brown spots. Common in the Mediterranean, it feeds off the Petrosia ficiformis sponge where it is easily found..
