8/A – Common octopus - Octopus vulgaris

Has eight tentacles with a double row of suckers, which, when extended, can exceed 2 meters in length and weigh around 10 kilos. A well-known cephalopod mollusk, the octopus finds a lot of its favorite prey in the reef, such as lobsters and other shellfish, as well as bivalve mollusks, which it is partial to. It lives at a depth of a few cm up to more than 50m.
