10/B – Sea lace - Sertella septentrionalis

Certainly the best-known bryozoa; the delicate, lace-like colonies of varied shapes are found in the shady areas of the reefs at a depth of a few meters to over 50. Their color is generally salmon pink or pale orange, but often greenish colonies can be found; this is due to the presence of some algae.
