17/M – Damselfish - Chromis chromis

The best-known fish of the Pomacentrid family in the Mediterranean, until recently the only example, but now combined with new species that have arrived from the Red Sea. It is dull brown, almost black, and does not exceed 15 cm in size. It lives in groups in rocky environments at a depth beginning from a few meters from the surface.
